TRAPPER - 

Trapper is an even tempered German Shepherd male having moderate working and strong play drives. He is people and dog friendly. He is a certified therapy dog and routinely visits nursing homes and hospitals where he brings smiles and laughs to patients. Although he has no young children at home, he generally enjoys children and especially likes girls of all ages who he routinely 'kisses'. He has been an exceptionally easy dog to train showing an ability to learn quickly and remain highly motivated at many competitive tasks. He is an enthusiastic competitor in agility and consistently qualifies often with perfect scores. Tracking and scent work may be his natural calling as he relishes being in his tracking harness and on task in mountainous terrain. He is a faithful and loyal dog to his owners wanting to be with them where ever they go and never hesitating to show his protective instincts when appropriate. Best of all, he is a great companion and buddy, always trying his best to please and simply stated, is a pleasant dog to have around. His striking colors, noble head, and smiling face often bring many compliments. He has been a healthy dog needing only routine veterinary care. At age 4, he is a moderately lean 86 pounds and stands 25 ½ inches at the withers. He is a fine representative of his breed as he exhibits much of the behavioral and physical versatility so characteristic of this multi-purpose breed.
